Mohawk FD responded to a reported vehicle fire on Pine Bush Road in the Town of German Flatts on July 27th with East Herkimer FD as automatic mutual aid. On arrival, Mohawk units found a mid size SUV fully involved and only a few feet from a large garage. Firefighters quickly brought the fire under control with only minor damage to the garage. East Herkimer assisted with overhaul.
