East Herkimer Volunteer Fire Department participated in the 1st Annual CNY 9/11 Memorial Stairclimb on September 11, 2015. This climb pays tribute to those first responders who gave the ultimate sacrifice trying to save occupants of the World Trade Center on 9/11/01. All climbers wore the name and picture of a hero they were climbing in memory of.
