The East Herkimer Fire Department is proud to offer the Knox Box Corporation’s residential line to its residents. The system consists of a key safe that is secured to the exterior of your residence that can only be accessed with a special key by the fire department. This system prevents unwanted damage to property by eliminating the need for emergency responders to break in in the event of a fire alarm or medical emergency. Residents can also leave medical information securely in the box for emergency responders.
