The East Herkimer Fire Department held its annual Open House on 10/12 from 12:30-3:30pm. Members of the community were given tours of the station and apparatus and children were able to see Sparky and practice evacuation drills in the smoke house. Thank you to all that stopped by and supported our very successful barbeque, bake sale, and memorial fund raffle from the members of the Fire Department and Ladies Auxiliary!
The famous East Herkimer Fire Department Chicken BBQ is just around the corner… It will be held on Sunday, February 24th from 12:30-3:30pm. Tickets are now available for a $10 donation. Thank you for your continued support and we look forward to seeing you there!
The East Herkimer Fire Department in conjunction with the East Herkimer Ladies Auxillary will be hosting an ALL YOU CAN EAT Pancake Breakfast on September 23rd from 9am-11:30am. Adult tickets are $5 and children 12 and under are $3. Bring your appetites for a fun breakfast!
On Sunday October 16th from Noon to 3PM, the East Herkimer Fire Department will be hosting an community-wide open house and chicken barbecue. There will be various demonstrations and equipment displays for all to see. Games and activities will also be held for children of all ages. The open house is open to all and is FREE. If you would like to purchase a chicken barbecue, tickets are available from any member or at the door at the cost of $9.00 each. Hot dogs will also be available for children for 25 cents each.
