East Herkimer Fire Dept.

The East Herkimer Fire Department Annual Winter Chicken BBQ was held on February 23, 2020. Thank you to all that stopped by and supported our very successful Chicken BBQ and Chinese Auction.

Winners of the Chinese Auction are: Matt Mihevc, Sally Parese, Dan Wellington, Wendy Kovak, Josh Leone, Regina Collins, Richard Kast, Scott Kinville, Jerry Blair, Norene Ward, Mary Audycki, Dave Wolaber, Pat Steffens, Robert Yardley, Anne Kucerak, Robert Nasypany, Tina Cumm and Sue Pedrick.

A huge thank you to our donors; Brown-Randall, Denny’s, DikinDurt Distillery, Dominicks Deli, Hannaford’s, Herkimer Home & Leisure II, Leather by Pete, Lowes,Massaro & Son Florist, Pat & Paula Steffens, Skinner Service Station, Village Market and the Ladies Auxiliary.

The famous East Herkimer Fire Department Annual Winter Chicken BBQ is just around the corner.  It will be held on Sunday, February 23, 2020 from 12:00-3:00pm. Tickets are now available for a $11.00 donation. There will also be a silent auction and 50/50 raffle.

On December 29, 2017 the East Herkimer Fire Department along with other departments assisted the Little Falls Fire Department at a large barn fire on Timmerman Road. EHFD provided a tanker and manpower.

Early Saturday morning on October 14, 2017 the East Herkimer Fire Department assisted Middleville Fire Department, along with multiple area departments, at the scene of a major structure fire at the Herkimer Diamond Mines.
